Advocate Thabo Mpaka  holds a Bachelor degree in Law from the National University of Lesotho. He was admitted as an advocate in Lesotho in August 1998 and also in the Free State Provincial Division in the Republic of South Africa in September 2005. In 2007 he successfully completed his programme in Forensic and Investigative Auditing with UNISA, which comprised Fraud Prevention, Fraud Detection, Fraud Investigation, Forensic and Investigative

He operated his own chambers from 2000 – 2010 styled Mpaka Chambers. In 2010 he joined Du Preez, Liebetrau & Co in Maseru, Lesotho to date.

He worked for two years at B. Sooknanan  & Associates  where he dealt with a wide range of matters in the legal field, inter alia ; arbitration, debt collection, commercial, criminal, civil, company registration, conveyancing as well as  martial.

That continued to be the trend when he operated his chambers until when he joined Du Preez, Liebetrau & Co. He currently specialises in commercial litigation.
