Purpose of the Role

The incumbent should have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure and a proven track record in sales. As an IT Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling our Datacentre, network, and IT support services by understanding customer needs, providing technical expertise, and delivering tailored solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting and networking.
Understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.
Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in IT infrastructure
Provide post-sales support and technical assistance to clients as needed.

Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in IT sales, preferably in Datacentre, network, or IT support services.
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and
virtualisation.
