Mr Semethe Raleche is a graduate of Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch where he accomplished his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance. He is an experienced Development Finance Practitioner with a demonstrated experience in investment and international trade promotion, private sector development, regional economic integration and economic development policy. He has organized and hosted investment and trade promotion missions in Southern African region, Asia, Middle East, North America and Europe. Mr Raleche, currently works for Lesotho National Development Corporation in the capacity of Development Finance Manager.

Mr Raleche served as member of Subcommittee on Investment under the SADC Protocol on Finance and Investment. He is an entrepreneur, founder and Executive Director of Vitality Hospital Management Services and Vitality Health. He further serves as a director in several companies and state-owned enterprises such as Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation and Loti Brick. Mr Raleche joined CBS as a non-executive director effective from 2021.
