Budgeting Tool
 Over
many years, Computer Business Solutions (CBS) has
been working in strong partnership with the
Government of Lesotho in an effort to bring the
benefits of Information Technology to the Basotho
nation. The Electronic Budgeting Tool is one of the
empowering information management products that have
emerged out of this partnership.
The software tool makes the GOL budgeting process
fast and efficient. After accepting inputs in a very
friendly user interface, it generates reports like
‘RB1, RB2, RB3, REV1, CB1, CB2, and CB3’ at the
click of a button. The system was tested twice in
the field by the Ministry of Education and Training,
producing their entire budgets for both 2004/2005
and 2005/2006. This MTEF compliant system supports
Revenue, Capital, and Recurrent budgets. |
